Modeling the Kingdom
Are You Living the Kingdom or Just Talking About It?
The most powerful leadership isn’t what you say—it’s what you live. Learn how to embody Kingdom values that shape your family, team, and legacy.
Have you ever noticed how much more our kids catch from us than what we intentionally try to teach?
More is caught than taught. As leaders, it’s tempting to think our influence comes mainly from what we say, but the greatest impact is often in what we model. The atmosphere of our lives becomes the soil where faith takes root in others.
Scripture echoes this truth. Paul reminded Timothy of the generational faith passed down through his grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice; a faith that was alive and burning in him too (2 Timothy 1:5). Faith is multiplied and made tangible when it’s lived out in front of others.
May we be leaders who embody the kingdom. May we pave the way for our families, our teams, and our communities to follow in our footsteps. And may every act of devotion, every choice to live yielded to Jesus, create a legacy that others can step into.
«Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.»
1 Corinthians 11:1 (NIV)

4 Keys to Embodying the Kingdom:
- Model First.
Before asking your family or team to embrace a value or culture, embody it yourself. People follow what you demonstrate more than what you declare. - Create Visibility.
Let them see your rhythms of integrity, rest, prayer, or excellence. Don’t just lead behind closed doors—invite them to catch the example. - Tell the Stories.
Share personal testimonies of how you’re living the values you want replicated. Stories imprint culture in ways that policies never can. - Celebrate What You Want Multiplied.
When you see your family or team living out the culture, highlight it. Recognition reinforces behavior more than correction does.
