Jana Sawchuck

Jana Sawchuk serves as the Lead Pastor of Burning Hearts Church in Fargo, North Dakota.



In 2007, she and her husband, Dr. Ted Sawchuk, attended a conference with Dr. Randy Clark, Bill Johnson, and Heidi Baker, where they witnessed undeniable, miraculous healings. At that time, they had been fervently praying for a healing revival to break out in America—similar to what they had experienced while serving as missionaries overseas.

Shortly after returning home, those prayers began to unfold in extraordinary ways. That very week, as they prayed for people in their city, they saw God move powerfully—the dead were raised, the lame walked, and the blind received sight. Out of this move of the Spirit, they launched a ministry called Burning Hearts, which has since led countless individuals into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and into life-changing encounters with His healing power. As the ministry continued to grow, they planted Burning Hearts Church in 2015.

Jana is ordained through Global Awakening and has been involved in helping plant four other churches. She leads Burning Hearts Church with a passion to see lives and cities transformed by the presence and power of Jesus. In addition to pastoring, she travels to speak in churches and conferences and continues to carry a heart for the nations—participating in missions work each year.

Jana and Ted have been married for 31 years and are blessed with three adult children, a son-in-law, and an amazing grandson.
