A Masterclass from
Jackie Durant
About This Masterclass
When harm has happened, what would making things right really take?
An apology was offered. A consequence was given. Everyone was ready to move on—but someone still felt unheard, trust remained fragile, and the deeper questions went unanswered.
What could justice look like when repairing harm becomes part of the response?
In For the Love of Justice, Jackie Durant introduces restorative justice through the heart of God’s ministry of reconciliation. Across six sessions, explore how to acknowledge wrongdoing, listen to those affected, and invite meaningful accountability that leads toward repair.
Drawing on experience with victims, offenders, and community programs, Jackie brings real stories and practical tools to difficult questions about forgiveness, responsibility, and rebuilding relationships. You’ll also consider how past experiences shape behavior and why understanding someone’s story matters.
Whether you’re navigating tension at home, leading a team, or serving your community, come discover a thoughtful approach to justice that holds dignity and accountability together.

Frequently Asked Questions
I care deeply about accountability. Does a restorative approach make room for that?
Yes. Taking harm seriously is central to this class. Jackie explores what it means to hear those affected, acknowledge responsibility, and consider what repair requires. Compassion makes room for honest understanding while keeping the impact of wrongdoing in view.
Can I benefit if the other person isn’t ready to have a conversation?
Yes. You can begin by reflecting on your own responses, learning to name harm clearly, and practicing thoughtful listening. Reconciliation requires willing participation and a safe context; taking this class doesn’t mean you need to initiate contact or rush into a conversation. There is room to learn while honoring your boundaries and pace.
