A Masterclass from
Dr. Elizabeth Woning & Ken Williams
About This Masterclass
When someone trusts you with their story, how do you respond?
A conversation about sexuality or gender can carry years of questions, deeply held beliefs, and a longing to be understood. For pastors and ministry leaders, responding thoughtfully begins with recognizing the person who has trusted you enough to share.
In Pastoring LGBTQ, Ken Williams and Dr. Elizabeth Woning invite you into a deeper, more thoughtful approach to discipling people navigating questions of sexuality and gender identity—one rooted in Scripture, shaped by love, and strengthened through real pastoral experience.
Because this isn’t just a cultural issue—it’s a discipleship opportunity. And how you lead in this area will shape the safety, depth, and integrity of your community.
Lean in. Lead like Jesus—full of grace and truth.

About the Teachers
Ken Williams brings a personal history of wrestling with sexuality, faith, shame, and belonging to his work as a pastor, author, and speaker. He describes how experiences of relationship with God shaped his understanding of himself and the direction of his ministry.
Dr. Elizabeth Woning’s work brings together theological study, pastoral experience, and a personal journey of faith. She attended a Presbyterian Church (USA) seminary while openly identifying as lesbian and later described an encounter with Jesus that changed her beliefs and the course of her life.
The CHANGED Movement was founded by Ken Williams and Dr. Elizabeth Woning to highlight the beautiful and compelling stories of men and women whose journeys with Jesus drew them out of LGBTQ. Overseeing the growing CHANGED Movement, they work to open doors of dialogue that offer insight into the complexity of LGBTQ identity and seek to protect alternatives to that subculture.

Frequently Asked Questions
Someone in my church has opened up about their sexuality or gender. Is this class relevant to that conversation?
