Steven Hyun Kim

Steven (Hyun) Kim is a seasoned minister, speaker, and leadership educator who serves as a senior leader at Reign City Ministries and as a faculty professor of leadership at Trinity Western University in British Columbia, where he teaches in the Bachelor of Arts in Leadership program. With more than three decades of ministry and educational experience, Steven has planted ministries and developed leaders across Canada, South America, and Africa, alongside his wife Sonya, his college sweetheart of 31 years.

He is the author of Chrysalis: An Odyssey of Faith, Betrayal, and Renewal in Pastoral Ministry, a reflective narrative that explores the hidden processes of transformation in leadership and ministry.

Together with Sonya and their son—who serves as associate pastor and worship director—Steven is pioneering Reign City Ministries, an apostolic centre in Vancouver, British Columbia, dedicated to fathering, mothering, and empowering the next generation of leaders for global impact.
